Faces. There are lots of photos showing orienteers running away from the camera. Try to get photos of people moving towards the camera
High resolution. I often crop photos extensively. Low resolution photos don't permit this type of cropping
Quality. Sharp focus, proper exposure. Touching up with photo editing tools is definitely encouraged
Composition. Pay attention to backgrounds! Don't cut off the tops of heads. If shooting the whole person, make sure the feet are in the frame
